This private tour offers you the best opportunity to follow the classic route from Athens to Peloponnese and Thessaly, that takes you to the most important and significant cities of the antiquity and learn a great deal about the Greek Mythology, Ancient Greek History and the Olympic Games.
1st Day: tour to Corinth and Nafplion
Driving from Athens on the coastal national road we will arrive to Corinth, which is 90km away from Athens. We will stop at the Corinth Canal that connects the Aegean to the Ionian Sea and we will continue our taxi tour towards the Ancient City of Corinth, where you will be able to visit the Archaeological Museum of Corinth, as well as the Temple of Apollo. Corinth is also known as one of the regions where St Paul stayed and preached for two years.

Next, our taxi tour will drive you towards the ancient city of Mycenae, where the famous Homeric hero Agamemnon was ruling. The Palace of the Mycenaean King, the Tombs of the Kings, the Cyclopean Walls and the Lions’ Gate are among the sights we will be visiting during our stay.
Our sightseeing tour will continue driving towards the city of Naplion, the historical first capital city of modern Greece. Featuring a very romantic atmosphere and picturesque setting, Nafplion is a major tourist destination that preserves, though, its aesthetic standards.
You can see the little island of Bourtzi that lies in the middle of the Gulf, and the Imposing Venetian Fortress of Palamidi. You can either climb the 999 steps to its top, or ask the taxi driver to take you there from the ring road.
Later, we will drive towards Ancient Olympia, where we will spend the night.
2nd Day: tour to Ancient Olympia and Arachova

In the morning, we will take you to the archaeological site of Olympia, the original setting of the ancient Olympic Games. The stadium, the Museum of the Games and the altar where the Olympic Flame is lit every four years are situated there, along with the Temple of Zeus and Hera.
After visiting Olympia we will drive towards central Greece; crossing one of the longest bridges in Europe, from Rio to Antirrio, we will drive through a lovely and scenic route through the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos and Galaxidi to Delphi and Arachova.
The tour will take you to the traditional village of Arachova laying at the footslopes of Mount Parnassus; the village is today a tourist hub, featuring a large and modern ski centre.
We will be spending the night in Delphi.
3rd Day: tour to Delphi and Kalambaka
Archaeological Site of Delphi
Our sightseeing tour will start in Delphi early in the morning; we will be visiting the archaeological site of Delphi, where the Oracle of Apollo is situated.
The historical sanctuary of Apollo was the site where Pythia lived; here oracles are worldwide known for their ambiguity and gripping content.
After Delphi, the taxi tour will continue driving towards Kalambaka. We will pass by large cities of Central Greece, such as Trikala and Lamia before reaching the town of Kalambaka where we will be spending the night.
4th Day: tour to Meteora

The guided tour will start at the impressive and imposing Monasteries of Meteora, located on the tops of the Meteora suspended cliffs. You will see the large collection of Christian treasures and then we will set off for Athens.
Your driver will make sure that we will pass by Thermopylae, the Hot Gates of the Antiquity, where Leonidas of Sparta and his 300 soldiers fought the myriads of Persians to death. We will be arriving to Athens later the same night after a long but enjoyable day.
