Our Athens-by-night tour starts from the port of Piraeus, the main port of Athens for over 2,500 years now, where you can watch the commercial and tourist ships leaving Piraeus for a picturesque Greek island or another country in the Mediterranean.
You will continue towards Marina Zea, one of the most luxurious and busy yacht harbors in the Mediterranean which is the home port to gorgeous sailing and motor boats.
The tour will continue on to Mikrolimano, the small but very cozy and picturesque fishing and yacht boat harbor, which is also home to the National Yacht Club and many of the best waterfront seafood restaurants of the city.

Driving through the city of Piraeus, the Town Hall and the Municipality Theatre, we will follow the main avenues and pass by notable monuments of the city of Athens:

- the Parliament
- the University of Athens, and
- The Academy of Arts
You will also be able to admire the lovely illuminated Lycabettus Hill and of course the imposing Parthenon that overlooks the city.
Athens by night tour, Part 3: Greek Night in Plaka

Your private tour will finally take you to Plaka, the focal point of entertainment in downtown Athens. After a short and enjoyable walk through the impressive maze of walking paths in Plaka, you will able to see the numerous gift and art shops located at this unique quarter, do some shopping if you want and then sit for a lovely dinner at one of the well appointed and friendly restaurants in Plaka, this scenic neighborhood of Athens.
Late night at Athens and Plaka begins around about 10:00 PM with bands playing Greek music, the bartenders offering some generous glasses of local wine or ouzo, and of course, Greek dancers performing exotic belly and folk dances, encouraging you to learn the steps and follow them.
It is quite easy to get carried away by the rhythms of the vibrant night out in Plaka – Don’t miss the experience of throwing plates (if allowed), yelling “Opa” while dancing - it is most likely that you will be invited to jump up on the table or the dance floor and join in the fun!
